Anita Thacher is a New York-based visual artist known for her multi-media installations, painting, prints, films, and public art works. Her work has been shown notably at The Whitney Museum of American Art, The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden Biennial, P.S. 1, Jeu de Paume, The New York Film Festival, The Sculpture Center, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Museum of Modern Art.
