This piece has a printed background of tissue paper with a dot pattern. On top is a fabric structure with wax embedded into it plus pearl strings.
My recent work is about underlying supports and liquidity. I am interested in grids, bones and scaffolding and how these frameworks sustain and support fluids and flow.
Ellen Alt has exhibited her mixed media artwork in the U.S, Israel, Germany, former Soviet Union, China and England. One of her pieces was presented to Hillary Clinton in Jerusalem on the occasion of the peace treaty between Israel and Jordan.
