After fifteen years as an actress and storyteller, I became a visual artist, and now work in watercolor and collage, exploring color and shape in bright, saturated hues.
My paintings combine abstract figures with sweeping landscapes, and they are built on concepts of mythology from all over the world. The images evolve from dreams and ancient tales, from children’s literature and from nature.
These two pieces are also inspired by the small, seemingly insignificant moments that fill us with love and connection, and by the experiences that bring us joy and wonder and a wide-eyed view of the day.
